WELCOME TO THE 2023 WHITE MOUNTAIN INVITATIONAL !
SCHEDULE
FRIDAY – White Mountain Country Club
- 12pm – Range is open
- 12:15pm – Coaches meeting in the “crow’s nest”.
- 12:45pm – Players meeting
- 1pm – Shotgun Start.
SATURDAY – Pinetop Country Club
- 8am – Range is open
- 8:15 am – Coaches meeting on the deck.
- 8:45 am – Players meeting.
- 9am – Shotgun Start. (The start time COULD be delayed on Saturday IF there is frost present on the course.)
- 1:30 pm (or when play is over) – Presentation to athletes by the PGA of America
- 1:45 pm – Awards
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Day 1 will be held at White Mountain Country Club. Shot-gun start will begin at 1pm. Range will open at 12pm. Coaches meeting will be at 11:45am. Player meeting at 12:45pm.
- Day 2 will be held at Pinetop Country Club. Shot-gun start will begin at 9am (weather permitting). Range will open at 8am. Coaches meeting will be at 8:15am. Player meeting at 8:45am.
- All spectators MUST be shuttled in to WMCC on Day 1 from Pinetop Lakes golf Course across the street. There is NO parking available at WMCC due to construction. ALL school vehicles must park at the maintenance building. Players and coaches can walk up the range from there.
- Every school is allotted 2 golf carts for coaches, please thank the pro. CART PATHS ONLY. There are NO spectator carts available this year.
- All official scoring will be on the IWM app. If players aren’t able to use the app, a golf card shall be kept for opposing player. After play, all groups must check in with the scorer’s table to confirm scores and turn in cards.
- Please help get players out to holes for starts. No riding on the backs of carts please.
- Lunch, presented by the PGA of America, will be in the banquet room at Pinetop Country Club on day 2 beginning after (or as) groups are checking in with the scorer’s table.
- PLEASE help pick-up all the trash.
- Please keep all players hydrated. Waters in carts are for every player.
- The State Qualifying round will be the back 9 on day 1.
- On day 2 we will have the following contests: Closest to the pin award, Longest Drive – Boys, Longest Drive – Girls

- Team Awards – 1st – 3rd Place
- Boys Individual Awards: 1st – 10th place
- Girls Individual Awards: 1st – 6th place
- Closest to the pin award (Day 2 – Hole 11)
- Longest Drive – Boys (Day 2 – Hole 4)
- Longest Drive – Girls (Day 2 – Hole 4)

- Girl’s – White (5726 yds)
- Pinetop Country Club Tee Info
- Boy’s – Bronze (6039 yds)
- Girl’s – Silver (5488 yds)
- Both days will be a shotgun start off.
- Live scoring must be kept on the AIA iwanamaker app. A scorecard per group will be provided to be kept as a back up.
- In the event of any team or individual tie, tie-breakers will be determined from hole 18 down.
- Both of the courses we will play are private country clubs, please be courteous to members. Proper attire and etiquette are non-negotiable.
- Take great care of the course, replace all divots and repair ball marks on the greens.
- Keep up with the pace of play. Players will get one warning and head coaches notified before incurring a 2-stroke penalty for slow play.
- Golf etiquette and sportsmanship is expected. Players will get one warning and head coaches notified before incurring a 2-stroke penalty for poor sportsmanship (throwing clubs, cursing, etc). 3rd warning is a DQ.
- All final rulings will be recommended by the Rules Committee and confirmed by the Golf Pro at the respective golf course.
